I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I bring passion and energy to my clients and our work together. I will challenge you, guide you, support you and encourage you to be your best self and live fully.

Education and Training:

I obtained my master’s degree in counseling from the University of Southern Maine, with concentrations in rehabilitation counseling and clinical mental health counseling. I subsequently completed a two-year Gestalt training program through the Gestalt Institute of New England in Somerville, MA. I have also completed an Externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. My undergraduate degree is from Johns Hopkins University, where I studied humanities, anthropology and education.


In addition to my private practice, I am also an adjunct instructor at University of Southern Maine, teaching graduate students in the Counselor Education Program. In the past, I have worked in crisis counseling, case management, EAP (Employee Assistance Program) counseling, residential and community settings. I have experience working with mental health, substance abuse, trauma, disabilities, Deaf services and with people from diverse multicultural backgrounds.
